Seven Invisible Men

Action in Šarūnas Bartas film takes place in the south of former
Soviet Union. The heroes of the film are two men, two women and a
girl - misfits with different life stories. Somebody runs away from
the justice, somebody runs away from oneself. Their journey is
hopeless. By escaping from the world they can neither change it nor
tailor it according to their understanding. Except the three
professional Russian actors the rest are featuring for the first
time in their life in the film.
The production of the film Seven Invisible Men took five years. It was a part of Cannes Film Festival's 2005 Director's Fortnight. At the Open CIS and Baltic film festival Kinoshock 2005 the film was awarded with the Aleksandr Kniazhensky prize in the category The Best Cameraman.
